ABOUT US

We are a Turkish biotechnology research group that produces sustainable and biodegradable microneedle patches with silver nanoparticles and nitroxide for patients with diabetic wounds.
Founded in March 2023, TechAlike aims to develop new treatment methods for diabetic wound patients. With extensive research on biomaterials and nanoparticles, we seek to promote reachable health products while emphasizing sustainable and environmentally aware production.

What are microneedle patches?

Micro-needle plasters have been used to transport bioactive molecules of different sizes. This system is usually used to provide insulin input to the body. Consisting of 100 microscopic cylinders, this substance does not harm the skin.

           How does our patch work?

Our patch contains silver nanoparticles for antimicrobial cleaning and protection of the wounded area. As the major cause of diabetic wound is damaged vascularization, our invention contains nitroxide. This substance is the primary agent that provides angiogenesis, the oxygenization of vessels. Consequently, our product facilitates vascularization.

Microneedle patches are designed to have movement. This property of the product enables position changes while protecting the diabetic wound. Our team investigates biomaterials that would enable our invention to be biodegredable. By merging sustainability, environmental awareness, and biomaterials egineering, we work to produce products that alleviate human suffering.
